I just bought a pair of gorgeous 6 inch white heels to go with the new wedding dress I bought from www.idonowidont.com and the last thing I'd want is to fall when I'm walking down the aisle.
It's really an awesome idea and I would buy some for myself and all my bridesmaids!
If I was a bride, wearing a long dress, I'd DEFINITELY wear them for my ceremony and any other part of my wedding in a grassy area. I wouldn't, however, let myself me photographed in them..unless it was to point out how silly them look :)

OMG! This is genius. I have an outdoor wedding in a meadow in May. I was coming to terms that I would have to wear wedges...but not now!
No. They're fugly. Either spread the word to guests to wear comfy shoes, ask BMs to wear wedge heels or flats, or go barefoot. Those plastic heel caps are just vile.
I don't think I like them, but then again, I don't like clumps of dirt on my heels! :)

While I don't think they are very attractive, I'd use them in between the wedding and the reception when we'll be taking pictures at a place where I'll have to walk on grass at some point. (And with a long dress, who cares?) But I wouldn't wear them in church or at the reception. I'll tell ya though, I wish I had them when I graduated from college so my heels didn't sink into the campus' Great Lawn!! BLEH!

I wore these to my wedding last month and no one saw them and I wasn't sinking into the grass that had been rained on for the past week. They were fabulous. I couldn't get them off in time for the reception but I don't think anyone saw them. I wore the clear ones.

Friendships also have different levels. I never expected to have met someone who is extra nice and so special to me.
